The Power Of Knowing About Your Past Life

By Susan M Mann

The concept of having a past life or perhaps several is reincarnation. It is an ancient concept in various cultures the world over. Some of these include Africa, Japan, Australian aborigines as well as some New Age religions and modern Wicca. They believe we have lived past lives and that those past lives influence us today.

Your health, your mental wellbeing, and your social interactions are impacted by each past life. For this reason, it is often a good idea to know thyself - to meet who you were in a past life, settle the demons that may be left over, and to integrate all the strengths you've accumulated over time so that you may be a stronger person now and in future lives.

What are the indications of your past life? It is not easy to determine how and what the past life was but some of the simple indications are disturbing dreams that keep on visiting you in your sleep that you never was aware if it happened to you. OR when you recall from memory some of the things that happened in your life but you can not explain if when it happened. This may have been you in your past life indicated by the following circumstances:

* An overwhelming attraction or love of some culture that you have not experienced and do not relate to your present life For instant, if you adore Mesopotamian art, that era and region may be familiar to you from a past life. You should find out more concerning the art that you find interesting, especially if it is a distinct and rather minor period. It may be a good indicator of a past life.

* Abnormally strong emotions about some incident in history if, for instance, you tear up when you look at Washington Crossing the Delaware but not at any other revolutionary art, you may have been involved in that incident in a past life.

* You might be experiencing different allergies or problems that were not previously present or detected or you might have some psychological or physical problems that you cannot explain which might be linked to your past life.

This is of course, not an extensive list. Having such indicators does not mean that you are actually remembering a past life. Observe the patterns of your life, the range of things that you find attractive for some reason. You may be able to tune into some of the likenesses that can aid you in piecing the idea of what your past life or lives may have been like to live.

You may be able to access your past life or past lives by being hypnotized by someone else or with self-hypnosis. You may find that a visit to a past life regression specialist well worth the time and money. Past life regression, is a deep hypnotic form of recalling memories from the subconscious mind.

When you made decision regarding this, go for the process that gives you a deep relaxation method. This is the first technique that you should get before the therapist proceed to the past life regression.

There is nothing significant to worry over in the terms of safety, since what should happen is that you are able to experience a past life just as vividly as if you were actually going back in time. It may not be as intense as described here; however, you should be able to experience feelings and shadow of your past life.

As you recall your life in the past, it will generate after effects in your feelings. If you feel good, your past life could have been good. If you feel bad after the process, your past life could have been bad as well. Although some memories and past life events are not good for you, it does not mean that you will have the same bad fate in the current life. It is only a recollection of your past life for your benefits.

It is the remembering of this past life, which is important; and once you have remembered, you can start to move on. It is only the subconscious suppression of these memories which causes problems. By understanding and accepting what happened in the past you can start to experience this present life with a totally different outlook.

The philosophy of Karma says that when we are good examples in one life, while being committed to positive and kindly acts offer us good karma. As a result, for good, we receive good vibrations in our future lives, unless we become bad examples. If this happen, then our personal Karma changes and negative vibrations follow us throughout our future lives, until we suffer from them and then commit to becoming a good example in our own lifetime.

However, there is often confusion by people over this interpretation. We are not destined to be bad or deserve to suffer because of a past life. With each new life we are literally born anew and it is our own choice to do the things you do. Once you realize that a certain memory is from a previous life, and you are not a bad person now, then you can go on to have a good life in the present. - 31856

Start To Use Your Amazing Mind Power!

By Kevin Hounsome

Just in case you didn't already know, your mind is like a magnet. What it thinks and sees, it will eventually attract. There is this thing that is called the law of attraction, and it deals very strongly with mind power. The law of attraction is basically the act of believing something is going to happen so strongly that it does. You can have the best life if you want it, but you have to be able to think it, feel it, and envision it first. This may take some practice, but success only comes with persistence in any endeavor. The power of the mind is amazing.

We all have mind power that we just do not realize. In fact, research has proven that we only use about 10% of our brain power. What a waste! We seem to only stick to the simple things and bypass the rest. That could be why we seem to think life is nothing but trouble. That leads to negative thoughts because we do not think anything can happen. We think negative, so we draw negativity to ourselves. The truth is that by thinking this way we are just manifesting the negativity in our own life.

The reality of life first happens within the mind. Whatever you have accumulated thus far has been a result of your mind power. It has been said that everyone has psychic and extra sensory skills or 'powers', but in reality, it is simply a state of advanced mind power. If there is something that you want in life, then all you have to do is think it. Those who are always expecting the worst will always end up with the worst.

If you want to increase your mind power then there are some things that you can do. Visualization is one of those things. Visualization is a powerful technique that allows you to exercise your mind power. It can help you to gain more power, too.

You should start with writing down the things you picture in your mind. This will help these things into your subconscious mind so that you can begin to bring them to life. Your subconscious is a very powerful part of your mind. Make sure the images are positive so that you will only draw positive things to your life. Think about how you want your life to be before you start this process.

Write things down like a story on a piece of paper. Use your goals to help your create your visions and guide you on what to write. Your goals should be the basis for your visualization. Write things down until what you write starts to become reality.

Another technique to use to increase mind power is affirmations. Affirmations are positive things that you think or say to yourself throughout the day. They encourage you to think positivity and to work towards your goals. They can be about anything positive that you want to happen in your life. Just keep using them every day. You should do this for 28 days straight, even if it feels weird, in 28 days it will naturally become a habit.

Developing more mind power can also be done by brainwave entrainment. This is simply brainwave synchronization that involves the use of different frequencies through audio technology. Our brains have the natural ability to do several things. One of them consists of the power to heal itself. This can be turned on even more through this type of advanced audio technology. Other things consist of the ability to enhance memory and bring into effect our already existing psychic powers. Different frequencies can do a whole lot concerning mind power. This is a very advanced type of procedure, but it works wonders.

Hypnosis will also help to increase your mind power through relaxation and getting into your subconscious mind. A good example is how hypnosis works to help people quit smoking. During hypnosis the session takes the person into relaxing as they are told over and over about not smoking and how they want to not smoke anymore, that they are ready to quit and this makes it happen. Hypnosis led the person who didn't believe in themselves to become sure that they could quit smoking.

Everyone has mind power, even you. It is just a matter of believing in it and your mind's ability. It is probably not going to happen overnight, but you can use it overtime to change your life and bring positivity and good luck into your life. It is simply about communicating to the universe what you want and pulling it to you. It all starts with the subconscious mind and knowing that your mind is very powerful. - 31856

The Incredible Power Of The Mind

By John H Wood

Back in the'80's there was a commercial, a slogan really, 'The mind is a terrible thing to waste.' While the commercial dealt with teens and drug use, the message can still be applied today. We can expand on the sentiment though; the power of the mind is a terrible thing to waste. It is time for you to harness the power of mind and use it to create what you want in life.

Everyone in the reach of Western Media has, by now, heard of The Secret, or The Law of Attraction. In a nutshell, whatever you positively visualize in your life, you'll achieve. Even if you don't consciously direct it, your perceptions of the world will alter how the world happens to you. People with negative attitudes draw negative events to them, and people with positive attitudes draw good fortune to them.

In the medical world, this is known as the Placebo Effect; people who are told they're taking a medicine will get the benefits of that medicine even if they're given a sugar pill. This happens about 40% of the time and is something clinical trials have to correct for. Similarly, the adage of 'Mind Over Matter' holds some credence as well. This is how you've seen people think themselves sick, or think themselves well.

While the singular of data is not anecdote, there is some direct experience you've had. How many times have you woken up in the morning thinking this was going to be a bad day, or 'one of those days'. And then had a self-fulfilling prophecy? Welcome to the Law of Attraction on a personal scale. It's your own mind and your own expectations sabotaging you.

Correlation is not causation, though there are a lot of people who try to link the Law of Attraction to some quantum mechanical effect. Going too far down this line will make your head hurt, either from the quantum mechanics or from the way the terminology is being misused. Ultimately, this drives into solipsism if you look at it too deeply, and that's not what the Law of Attraction is about.

Many scientists now believe that all so called 'supernatural' powers such as esp, telepathy, remote viewing, psychic and clairvoyant phenomena can be explained in terms of quantum theory. In short - everything we see, hear and feel is merely a creation of our thoughts! Nothing is solid; it is all energy and this energy has been created by the power of our minds.

And that opens up doors. Learning how to use the power of your mind can change your life, by giving you focus, by making a lot of your goals attainable. It's better to keep your mind open to opportunities, to let the Law of Attraction work for you, than to let negative impressions derail your life.

Start with a goal. Visualize it clearly in your mind. Make it a goal with boundaries; for example, if you're thinking about money, don't think of the goal in the context of 'A lot of money'. Put a dollar figure on it. Make it a real goal, with precision. Once the goal is set, focus your mental actions on achieving that goal. Keep the effort constant; don't do it in bursts and lags.

There are people though who understand the power of their mind. They work each and every moment very steadily towards what it is they want to achieve. They direct every action and every thought in that direction. This means that the full power of the mind is focused on the goal. With the mind being the ruling power, and these people making sure that all of their other forces are directed at goal attainment, the goal becomes a reality. It may be difficult to get a grasp on what I am saying. Not because it is difficult, but because it seems so easy.

Imagine completely altering your life by actively taking part in the influence your mind has on your reality. Say that you wanted a new house. You want that new house so much that it almost becomes an obsession. You think about it all the time, you have even planned the landscape and the color of the master bathroom. Everything you do has to do with getting that house. It could be improving your performance at work, clocking the commute from that new house to your job, looking at paint at the local Home Depot, reading up on how to get a good mortgage. You might even start buying a few small things for that new house.

And eventually, if you follow through, you will get everything you want. You'll have a base of knowledge that you can use to further your career, and a foundation in how to learn independently to make your future endeavors more efficient. On top of that, you'll have ample evidence that a positive attitude and setting goals can get you anywhere in life. All of your energy focused through the Law of Attraction can be quite potent.

You can do this. Stop just letting life happen to you, make it happen for you. Decide on a small goal at first. Clearly define that goal. Do not doubt the power of your mind and you will be amazed at what happens! - 31856

Why Is Remote Viewing So Secret?

By Hugo Preis

Did you know that it is entirely possible to see people, places and events even when they are not within range of your regular five senses? Even if you cannot hear or see something through regular means, you will find that through using your own innate psychic ability, you can really perceive things that are a long way from where you are.

It is important to understand that remote viewing is not an out of body experience. An out of body experience involves detaching from your physical body and traveling the astral plane.

On the other hand, with remote viewing, you are looking at a form of psychic dowsing, where you can use your innate psychic power to find out what you need. Essentially, you will be using ESP to find out what you need.

The truth of the matter is that all people are capable of it. While it is easier to develop when you are young, you will find that you can easily learn it when you are older as well. When you think about the fact that you only use ten percent of your brain, there is a lot of potential there that is going untapped.

Do you like the idea of being able to reach out and to reassure yourself that your children are okay? This kind of security and peace of mind can be used to make remote viewing that much more beneficial for you and your family.

When you are thinking about learning psychic abilities like this one, you will find that it takes no natural talent. As soon as you are taught to enter the trance-like state where the remote viewing takes place, you will be able to use it to your heart's content, no matter what kind of talent you might have.

There are some simple techniques that you can try.

*First, sit yourself down in a quiet comfortable place and close your eyes. Get rid of as many distractions as you can.

*As you feel your body relax, start to breathe through your nose. You might want to make it easier for yourself by pressing your tongue to the roof of your mouth; happily enough, this will also keep you from yawning!

*Remember that you need to believe in yourself and your ability to do this. As you get more and more relaxed, tell yourself that you are capable of seeing places, people or events that you are not physically seeing.

*As you get started, start by thinking of a very simple target. One good exercise to get you started is to think about viewing your relaxing body from the side or from straight ahead. Construct the image of yourself slowly and carefully. While it can be difficult to view yourself this way, just remember that it will come with patience. Think about where other people stand when they view you and think about how you must look to them. This can be a good regular exercise for you.

*When you have mastered the mental controls that you need to maneuver yourself through the viewing process, why not cast your gaze a little bit wider? Consider all of the different options that you have when you are thinking about moving forward and learning about remote viewing. Picture a place that you are very familiar with and think about the small details that will surround it. When you have a picture in your head, go to the place itself and look it over. What kind of details did you see?

You might want to try these exercises with two people who can check each other. You and your friend should sit in separate rooms, outside of the view of each other. Take turns making simply movements like stroking your own hair or waving and then try to use remote viewing to see what is going on in their room. This can allow you to check yourself right away and you will then be able to compare results.

After you have gotten comfortable with your remote viewing, you will find that it starts going much more quickly and much more effectively. This trance-like state is very much like being hypnotized and you will find that even if you are still awake, you will be relaxed enough to hear with your sub-conscious is telling you.

The truth of the matter is that your psychic abilities are much easier to get to than you might think, and remember that practice is the key! - 31856

How Does The BioMat work?

By Cynthia Ryan

A medical device that can be used in the prevention of illness and treatment of disease, the Biomat is able to help people improve their overall health by positively impacting on the immune system, decreasing pain, increasing metabolism and thus burning fat, increasing circulation, decreasing cardiovascular risk, reducing pain and stiffness in joints, clarifying the skin, and allowing detoxification to occur in the body. The Biomat uses the power of negative ions, far infrared rays, as well as amethyst crystals.

How does the Biomat perform these functions? Light energy in the form of far infrared rays (FIR) are invisible to human eyes, but can be felt as heat on the body, and are a natural part of the sun's light (all living things produce some FIR). More and more medical professionals and those involved in alternative healing therapies are beginning to use FIR in their practices. These FIRs are sized between 9 and-- microns, which is the size of light that resonates most closely with the cells in the body. In the body there is a feeling of warmth when it comes into contact with FIR, and the metabolism is also increased.

The FIR are created in the Biomat when pulses of energy are put through a carbon ceramic material (known as Japanese Kurera Super Fiber). The generated FIR then pass through the layer of amethyst crystals in the Biomat which emits a long wavelength light which penetrates between 5 and 7 inches into the body.

Negative ions are created in the Biomat, and these have been proven to be beneficial to the body's health. In nature, negative ions are very commonly found in great abundance in rainforests, near waterfalls, and also near the ocean. Negative ions affect the brain by allowing it to receive more oxygen, which increases alertness and improves the attention span. Most people spend their time in areas where there are few negative ions, so the Biomat helps by increasing the negative ions a person is exposed to. DC current is passed through the Kurera fiber, which produce these negative ions. When the negative ions are discharged into the air, the body is able to take them in and positive ions in the bloodstream are then converted into negative ions. More calcium and sodium minerals are created in the bloodstream, which makes the bloodstream more alkaline, which is a healthy state for the body.

Amethyst crystals have the ability to act as a super conductor in the Biomat, and this means that FIRs passed through it are actually amplified, and as a result provide greater penetration into body tissues.

The Biomat can be slept on at night, or can be used for shorter periods of time (which is often the case in clinical practice). The Biomat has been approved for use by several insurance companies, as they consider it beneficial in the treatment of pain and various musculo-skeletal problems. The Biomat provides several advantages over other FIR products (such as traditional infrared saunas) as it converts AC into DC current which is healthier for the body (AC current has been shown to be detrimental to human health).

The Biomat is extremely beneficial for both home and professional use. Professional chiropractors, masseurs, acupuncturists, Reiki practitioners, and others have found Biomats very useful, because not only are they healing on their own, but they also help relax clients and complement their treatment. - 31856

Easy Meditation Techniques Anyone Can Do

By Trevor Johnson

Rejuvenation of the body and mind are important aspects in maintaining a stress free busy life. Using these three easy meditation techniques will help you accomplish this in a small amount of time in your busy day.

1. The first and easiest out of the three is a techniques referred to as mantra meditation. This technique works with repeating of natural sounds or repetitive words. Examples include heartbeats, running water from a creek or fountain and a chant that you keep repeating to yourself. These can be very simple for you to begin. While saying the chant or hearing the sounds, regulate your breathing until it is in tune with these sounds or chants. Soon you will start to feel the relaxation taking hold and feel revived and relaxed. Normally this is done for about 15 minutes.

This technique is called the deep controlled breathing technique. You should find a place you will not be interrupted and that is very quiet. Make yourself comfortable in any position you want. Closing your eyes get a vision of a clear mind, no thoughts at all. Take a very deep breath and while taking it start a count of three then release this breath to a count reaching six. You will want to keep this going for at least 20 minutes to benefit the most out of it.

This last techniques is referred to as the glowing bubble meditation. Imagine a goal you want to reach. Imagine yourself reaching this goal. Visualize this in your minds eye, see it happening. Now a glowing blue bubble envelops your goal and you visualize the bubble holding your vision drifting away into space. In your mind keep a strong view of this goal being achieved, take a deep breathe and see the glowing bubble float into the cosmos. This means your goal is gathering energy to manifest itself into your life and soon will come to fruition.

Using any meditation techniques regularly or combined with yoga is a great way of keeping your spirit and mind as healthy as they can be.

Your are ready for a journey of the soul and finding a healthier way of life using these easy meditation techniques a few times each week. - 31856

The Mental And Physical Benefits Of Meditation

By Trevor Johnson

The world keeps on spinning faster these days. It seems that the list of demands that people in our world place on us keeps getting longer no matter what we do to try to simplify our lives. Sometimes this can even reach the state of overwhelm, where you're seemingly completely at the mercy of outside influences. There are many ways people try to release stress and relax and unwind. Many of them include the ingestion of chemical means which is never truly beneficial.

However you look at it, there is only one way to really balance yourself and find peace and that is through meditation. Sure, there are other ways to relax, but this one is perfectly natural and doesn't involve resorting to substances such as caffeine, alcohol or worse. There are numerous benefits of meditation, some physical and some emotional and psychological.

When you can let go of the stress and tension in your life - even if only for a few minutes a day - you can do your entire being good and you'll feel so much better. You will let go of aches and pains that are caused by tense muscles which cause headaches and other ailments.

Most of the benefits of meditation come to you personally, internally. You do a world of good for you psyche when you can focus on yourself, on the good in the world, on the journey that you're on, not on the pain, the stress or the things that are behind you.

Many people just don't understand the link between their mental health and their physical health. The two go hand in hand and cannot be separated. When you have too much on your mind and are constantly focusing on the things you must do, the things that are expected of you, the things that worry you, your body will begin to pay the consequences. You'll feel tired all of the time and the tasks at hand will be more difficult.

There are lots of benefits to meditation. You can find out for yourself if you take just a few minutes aside and release all that is keeping you uptight, stressed out and out of focus. - 31856

Learning to Meditate on the Path to Self Discovery

By Keira Adams

A meditation teacher will tell you, "Meditation is inner astronomy. You discover the stars, the moon and the sun are all inside you." The allure of learning to meditate is the belief that Eastern philosophy and practice holds the key to understanding oneself. One may go through his or her whole life, always feeling that there is something more to life than the 40-hour work week or following a set of life stages that has been predetermined by societal norms. Meditation brings a sense of fullness, completion and tranquility to those who practice, which is a wonderful coping mechanism in today's high-stress environment.

The first step in learning to meditate is understanding the concept. The Western notion of meditation is "to focus one's thoughts or ponder over." However, the Eastern idea of spiritual meditation is "the all and the everything," says writer George Gurdjieff. Instead, meditation becomes the absence of thought, judgment and distraction -- but rather, the absorption of a sense of serenity and love. Some Westerners hesitate to get involved with meditation because these concepts seem too lofty, but once the mental and physical benefits of meditating are realized, it's hard to resist.

When students are learning how to meditate, position is emphasized because sitting upright allows energy to flow straight down the spine and back up again. Participants are able to take deeper breaths and remain mentally alert, even as the body moves into a deeper state of relaxation. There are two cushions the meditation group may use: the zafu and the zabuton. The zafu is a thick, pillbox-shaped cushion that is usually round. A zabuton is flatter, more like a dinner table seat cushion. There are also gomdens (taller square cushions), kneeling benches and yoga mats used in meditative practices.

Meditation classes sometimes teach a concept called "sweeping the house." When learning to meditate, it sometimes helps to use simple movements to keep you grounded. Place both hands behind your head, resting your hands at the base of your skull. Sweep your hands over the top of your head and imagine gathering up all your thoughts. When you get to your forehead, flick your hands away from your face and imagine all those thoughts being sent off into space. Repeat this process up to thirty times until you feel your consciousness leave your mind and migrate to your "hara" point in your belly.

More and more Americans are learning to meditate, now that the benefits of meditation have been scientifically studied. There is much left to learn, yet brain scans are showing researchers that just 40 minutes of meditation each day can actually change the composition of the brain. Participants in the 2009 Massachusetts General Hospital study increased the thickness in cortical regions of the brain related to visual, auditory, sensory and internal perception. This is also the hemisphere of the brain associated with focus, concentration and awareness. Additionally, meditation was found to slow age-related thinning of the frontal cortex. - 31856

Chakra Balancing For Health and Happiness!

By Jonathan Benjem

A consequence of modern science has been the eradication from peoples minds of the survival and significance of the spiritual being within the physical being.

The Hindu thinking of life, on the other hand, has kept the flame of spiritual-healing burning amidst the growth in science and technology.

Our body has seven primary Chakras and also many thousands of secondary ones. Chakra, is a Sanskrit word which means Wheel of Light, and these light wheels or Chakras, are in a stable state of rotation and vibration in a healthy body.

If the charkas become unbalanced, then this will result in an imbalance in the overall healthy performance of the body. As a result, Chakra Balancing is essential to a healthy body, mind, and soul.

Chakras are Entry Gates of the Aura and the centers of activity that receives, assimilates and expresses life-force energy. Located along the central line of the body from the base of the spine to the top of the head the seven main Chakras absorb and transmit energies to and from the universe, nature, celestial entities, and even from people.

What distorts Chakra Balancing?

If one or more of the Chakras is blocked, the energy does not flow smoothly through them and the end result will be an imbalance between the Chakras that result in physical or emotional problems.

The correct functioning of the Chakras can distort due to a number of factors, like bad health, stress, unbalanced diet, toxicity, not enough exercise, repressing emotions, untrue beliefs, detachment from a higher power, childhood traumas, cultural conditioning and emotional traumas, etc.

Chakra Balancing Key to Health and Happiness

The natural harmonious functioning of Chakras is a utopian idea. Therefore, human endeavor has always been to correct this distortion and strike a fine balance between these Chakras. The concept of self-healing is also loosely based on Chakra balancing.

Chakras influence our body shape, glandular processes, chronic physical ailments, thoughts, and behavior. Chakra balancing ensures that these parameters all work towards the goal of a healthy body, mind, and soul.

The benefits of Chakra Balancing include:

* Overall happiness and inner peace

* Personal health and energy

* Consciousness and being in touch with ones body

* Sexually content life without getting influenced by lust

* Alertness of personal feelings at the ethereal level

* Enhanced capacity to attract and express love in ones life

* Accelerated spiritual growth and development

* Religious healing with higher ways of realization, attentiveness, and acceptance

* A kind and affectionate heart

* Tremendous confidence levels, but short of being over-confident

* Understanding of the True Self

Attaining chakra balancing

Chakra balancing in individuals body can be accomplished by utilizing different techniques. Any of the following techniques will work to balance your bodys Chakras.

* Medicinal Therapies i.e. Reiki,

* Yoga (with breathing exercises) and/or Meditation sessions

* Exercise of body

* Color/Light Therapy

* Crystals and Gems

* Harmonizing with Hands and Pendulums

* Aromatherapy

* Touch Therapy

* Positive Thinking

* Sound frequencies/vibrations

* Affirmations and Hypnosis sessions, etc.

Our body is a reservoir of energy, in which the spent energy is released and disposed of by the body organs, and replenished, with new supplies of energies.

Chakra balancing ensures that this energy is gained and utilized by the body optimally, and all vital organs and body cells get their fair share of this energy.

When your Chakras are returned to their natural frequencies, inner peace, well being and happiness follows. Chakra Balancing is simply getting the Chakras back to their normal state of vibration. - 31856

The Most Popular Forms Of Energy Meditation

By Trevor Johnson

Energy meditation is rapidly growing in popularity as a means of spiritual growth and self-improvement. Every day, more people find the practice can bring immense improvement to their life. It can provide increased health, greater focused, and abundant vitality. While there are many methods and traditional schools, a few stand out in their prominence and the availability of instruction.

Taoist meditation relies on time tested Chinese principles of energy cultivation. It utilizes traditional Chinese knowledge about energy channels, varieties of energy, and energy manipulation. The main purpose is balancing the energy of a person to align with the natural, fundamental energy of the universe. One of the main practices is the retention, nurturing, and cultivated growth of life force.

Kaballah is originally Jewish, but has long since been adopted by people ranging from extremely devout Hasidic Jews to eclectic pagans. It uses a "Tree of Life" composed of ten signs to simultaneously represent the process of creation and the progression of the soul into increasingly refined states. By following the path, adherents purify their spirit and learns to command the forces of creation within themselves.

Techniques from India are undergoing a resurgence in popularity after a decline over the past couple decades. Prana yoga is by far the most popular of these forms. Most people learn hatha yoga and never progress further. Hatha yoga manages the vital energy of a student through physical poses and breath control. More advanced adherents of prana yoga move past the physical exercises and learn to perform energy meditation through spiritual concentration alone.

Many people overwhelmed by the modern world have turned to the ancient path of shamans to guide their energy practices. By working with various spirits and totems, they learn to transmute the energy within them into a clear and powerful force. Rituals, glyphs, and images are used to further align the adherent's spirit and will in order to cultivate a vibrant life force.

When choosing between different meditation options, base your choice on whatever strikes a chord with you. You will have the most success with a method that not only strongly appeals to you, but seizes your imagination. - 31856

What Are The Best Ways To Meditate?

By Trevor Johnson

Using meditation to help yourself remain calm is a way in which you can get rid of negative energy around you. Taking a few moments and using methods to meditate will have you feeling relaxed after just a little bit of time?

To get yourself use to meditating you should practice each day by doing a few minutes per day. Over time you will see that it will come easier to you, and even one day it will seem so natural it will be just like you are taking a breath.

Finding a place where you can sit on the floor comfortably is very important. Use a cushion to sit on if you need, placing your back straight and your legs crossed. Not everyone will be able to use the floor though.

If the floor is not a good choice for you find a chair your comfortable in, and sit down, placing those feet nice and flat on the floor, back straight and arms relaxed.

Start breathing in deeply and slowly close your eyes. Continue to breathe and as each breath is exhaled feel your body relax. Fix your mind to feel your body relax more and more by each breath you take. If needed imagine visualizations of your body relaxing.

You should bring your mind and body to a place where you feel nothing but peace. No anger, no stress, nothing but complete peace. This feeling is something that will transform your life, and make it much better. It will allow you to release numerous negative feelings; even with a short time of meditation you can feel great. Letting go of things that have been bothering you for years is quite possible with methods to meditate. Using them to your benefit instead of feeling stressed out every day, feel relaxed. - 31856

Improve Your Life With Chakra Color Therapy

By Jonathan Benjem

The attainment of inner peace does not require any external force. There is a huge energy reservoir within our bodies that is sufficient to fulfill all our physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. All that is required is to channel and balance the movement of seven primary energy centers, or chakras, in the body.

These seven Chakras each have a distinct color associated with them, which governs its movement; balanced or imbalanced. If there is an imbalance, you can correct it by employing Chakra Color Therapy to the relevant imbalanced Chakra.

The main Chakras along with their description and associated colors are discussed below:

1. The Base Chakra (Muladhara) is situated at the coccyx (base of the spine). This first chakra is associated with our very basic survival needs, courage, and vitality. The color associated with this chakra is Red. The attributes of Red color for the body includes vitality and energy provider on all levels.

2. The Naval Chakra (or Svadhisthana), situated at the center of abdomen, is associated with emotions and sexuality. Orange is the color associated with this chakra, which empowers the body with self-confidence, feelings of success, and independence of thought.

3. The Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) is situated in the stomach region. This third chakra is associated with lending power, will and identity to the individual. The color associated with this chakra is Yellow. The attributes of Yellow color for the body include thought clarity and self-worthiness.

4. The Heart Chakra, or Anahata, is located in the center of the chest. This chakra is associated with love, compassion, and self-expression. The associated color is Green, which is known for its qualities of intimacy and forgiveness.

5. The Throat Chakra (or Vishuddha), situated at the base of the throat, is associated with communication, creativity, and resonance. Blue is the color associated with this chakra, which empowers the body with the sense of self-identification and clarity in communication.

6. The Brow Chakra, or Ajna, is located between the eyebrows at the third eye position. This chakra is associated with intuitive power of the body. The associated color is Indigo, which is known for its qualities of understanding, self-responsibility and visualization.

7. The Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) is situated on top of the head. This seventh chakra is associated with knowledge and wisdom. The color associated with this Chakra is Violet. The attributes of Violet color for the body includes spiritual awareness and self-knowledge.

Quite simply, Chakra Color Therapy refers to simple exercises that use the relevant colors to correct the movement of imbalanced chakras. But, before you employ Chakra Color Therapy to treat the imbalance, its vital to know which chakra or chakras is/are affected in the body.

The next step is Color Breathing. This is simple exercise of relaxation with all the seven (colored) cloth swatches besides you. After identifying the disturbed chakra by going through the events of the day, take the colored cloth swatch, and lay them on the body part associated with the affected chakra. Close your eyes, take deep breaths, and visualize the color being absorbed by the chakra. The constant practice of this process for 5-10 minutes should be enough for the balancing of the affected Chakra. If more than one Chakra is out of balance, repeat the process for the imbalanced Chakras.

This simple exercise daily for 5-10 minutes will help in maintaining the chakra balance in your body. So, if you are having any bodily, mental or spiritual problem, you know Chakra Color Therapy is the easiest way out of your misery. - 31856

How Is Yoga Good For You?

By Ana Paula Hernandez

The practice of yoga is designed to unite mind, body, and spirit, and is based on the yogic premise that the mind and body are one, and that by the correct practice of yoga it is possible for the body to reach a place of harmony and heal itself.

There are now almost 6 million Americans who are believed to have experienced the benefits of yoga firsthand. Awareness of the body is assisted through the practice of yoga, improving a person's posture, their movement, and their alignment. Through the regular practice of yoga, people become centered and relaxed, less stressed, have more energy, and feel more peaceful, healthier and happier.

The start of a class usually consists of breathing and stretching, which aids participants in preparing mentally as well as physically. During most classes, the asanas are performed either as individual poses, or linked together in vinyasana. The class usually ends by a period of relaxation and meditation in shavasana (corpse pose).

Many forms of can be practiced, and there are many classes offered. There are different benefits to be gained from engaging in the various forms. Iyengar is great for promoting the right bodily alignment, and may use props like straps, blocks, and cushions. Bikram (also known as hot yoga), is performed in a heated room. There are usually 26 poses performed in a particular order in a class. Hatha yoga includes both Iyengar and Bikram, and both are common in the US, for their promotion of good breathing and strengthening.

What are the benefits of yoga for you? For starters, it promotes flexibility, and improves both circulation and muscle strength. It's benefits, however, are more than physical, as it also helps promote relaxation and calmness. It is designed to balance a person's life, with respect to physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health.

Yoga has been practiced for thousands of years, but in recent years it has been studied scientifically. Modern medicine has demonstrated that it is beneficial for the body. There has been a great deal of research done into the health benefits over the years, both of the asanas (poses) and pranayama (breathing). Yoga produces physiological, psychological, and biochemical effects on the body.

As far as physiology is concerned, yoga is able to reduce the respiratory rate and pulse, it can lower blood pressure, improve cardiovascular activity, assist in the body's excretory systems, aid in weight control, and effect a decrease in pain. Psychologically, yoga has been demonstrated to improve overall mood and feelings of well-being, it can decrease both anxiety and depression, improve the concentration, assist in learning, and even improve social skills and depth perception, as well as an overall increase in self acceptance. Biochemically, yoga has been shown to decrease blood glucose, sodium, both LDL and VLDL cholesterol, and increases HDL cholesterol and hemoglobin, and also creates a decrease in overall white blood cell count.

Yoga is a simple way of improving overall health, as it can do so much more than other forms of exercise for all over body benefits. - 31856

What Makes The Core Energy Meditation Program So Intriguing?

By Trevor Johnson

The concept behind Core Energy Meditation is quite intriguing and in fact this program that has been created by a person named Kevin Schoeninger is one that it pays to find out more about. After all who will not want to use the principles that will help them enrich their lives?

A common trait among all of us is that we tend to make an effort to improve our lives through only exercising our mental faculties and nothing more. This is seen in the fact that we start goading ourselves to think more positively and also try to be more focused on the things that we desire to own, achieve or attain. What's more, we will do such things even if our hearts are feeling the very opposite of what we are trying to do.

This tug between mind and heart can give rise to negativity which over a period of time only results in old energies being locked into us and into our bodies. What's more, all this will happen very subtly and also without a person even being aware that something like this is happening to them.

The Core Energy Meditation program of Kevin Schoeninger is aimed at helping in balancing our three main energy centers within the body which are the Mind Center, the Body Center and also the Heart. It does a really good job of getting these three centres into balance, helping to keep your body itself in balance as well.

As long as you practice this excellent program for just 20 minutes on a daily basis you will certainly not find it difficult to achieve a state of being called the Core Energy State. This state ensures that you will find true and complete happiness in life and in addition your mind will be at rest and your attachment to materialism will become lesser.

Core Energy Meditation owes a lot to Taoism as well as Kriya Yoga and it also draws on research findings in physics as well as other advanced subjects. The key to success with this program lies in practicing the principals on a daily basis, which is made easy by the different length meditations included in the package, - 31856

Hypnotizing People Is Much Easier Than You Think

By George Hutton

If you would like to hypnotize somebody, then this article is for you. I'll give you some basic tips on how to get somebody into a deep hypnotic state where they will be ready to take commands directly into their subconscious. This is a very powerful, so it should only be used with care and a deep and honest respect for the well being of the person you are hypnotizing. This assumes you are doing what is called authoritative hypnosis, meaning that the person knows you are hypnotizing them, and is willing to go along.

A good thing to get before you start is something they'd like to accomplish while under hypnosis. Maybe a bad habit they'd like to stop, or to do good an upcoming test, or to simply enjoy twenty or thirty minutes of focused relaxation. Make sure to respect whatever they want to achieve, as it is important to them.

Have them sit or lay back comfortably in a chair or a couch. You don't need to use a watch or anything. What you will be doing is guiding there focused imagine, so just ask them straight away to close their eyes. Ask them to take several slow, deep breaths. And as they exhale each breath, ask them to feel more and more relaxed with each exhale.

Once they have become really relaxed and look like a bowl full of jelly, you can start guiding their attention. Get them to focus on each body part, starting with their head, and finishing on their feet, relaxing each part as they go.

When you finishing relaxing all their body parts, you can start giving them commands. Make sure your command are congruent with what they said they wanted to accomplish under hypnosis. "You stop smoking easily," or "You always do well on tests, " or "you are very smart," or whatever they want. Spend about fifteen minutes during this section. Speak slowly and softly.

After you've given them several commands, it's time to wake them up. Take your time, and move them slowly from being relaxed to up and awake. A slow count from one to five is usually a good way to do this. For fun, do this with a romantic partner and take turns hypnotizing each other. - 31856

Becoming a Clairvoyant Free of Self-Doubt

By Paul B Dickinson

The topic of clairvoyance is one of the most controversial subjects in the world. The reason is that for all people, it challenges their beliefs and understanding of life, religion, and the universe. Medical science has discovered so much about the human brain but there is still a large part of it whose function remains unknown. Many people believe that be a clairvoyant free of misconception, that one is harnessing the power of a sixth sense that originates from this unknown region of the human brain.

Perhaps everyone has a bit of clairvoyant ability at their disposal. They just may not know it. For others-a minority to be certain-clairvoyant abilities are obvious and undeniable. These are the people we hear of who are considered natural clairvoyants. Other people, however, may wish to explore their own clairvoyant abilities or gifts and try to develop this sixth sense. If you want to develop your clairvoyant abilities, you must become a clairvoyant free of all self-doubt.

So if you want to become a clairvoyant free from doubt, the first thing you need is an openness and acceptance of psychic phenomena. As long as you remain close-minded or doubtful about such concepts, you will not be able to access your own clairvoyant potential. So try to stay open to all the possibilities.

But what does clairvoyance really mean? Well, clairvoyance may be described as the ability to discern events naturally, (through this so called sixth sense), that have happened in the past, or are about to happen at sometime in the future, or that are happening simultaneously some distance away. Sometimes this ability comes in flashes or bursts to the untrained, often in times of deep stress or impending danger, as in stories of people who have a premonition that their flight will crash and who then purposely miss that flight to later find out that the flight did indeed end in disaster.

So to develop any clairvoyant abilities, you must first open yourself to an all-encompassing awareness of the universe around you and the possibilities. You must remove any skepticism. You must choose to believe. And one way you can prepare your mind to do this is to practice meditation and begin to experience the 'oneness' of the universe.

Everything around us is born of, and is therefore a part of the universe and it is by learning to attune our spirits with it that we can tap into the universal continuum, and see events that have taken place or that are yet to take place, or sometimes something that is happening elsewhere in the world.

A clairvoyant free to connect with this universal pool of existence will at first often just see small particles of information and may not be able to discern any real meaning of what he or she sees. It may be even just be an emotion that is picked up, or an image of something, or something "heard" in the deep recesses of the mind. But this is the beginning. Learning to recognize it for what it is (a communication with the universal continuum) is the first step.

You must believe in your ability to develop clairvoyance completely. Doubts will block any potential progress. Likewise, worry or anxiety can block your level of awareness.

It can be difficult at first because we are not encouraged to give in to the full freedom of imagination. As we grow up we are steered towards realism and so there is a natural tendency to dismiss what may be considered to be fanciful thoughts.

But a clairvoyant free from such misgivings will be able to develop and "tune" their ability of receptiveness. At the beginning of your journey into clairvoyance, the trance like state of meditation is however key. As you progress and become more assured, your ability to tune yourself in will become second nature. You will learn quickly how to shut out the material world in order to be able to make way for the spiritual universe.

To better develop as a clairvoyant, free yourself from any distractions or negativity. This could be objects, people, or even places. If it contributes to your disharmony, separate yourself. Cleanse your environment from anything that is not conducive to your receptiveness.

Above all, you must have confidence in your own ability. A clairvoyant free from self doubt is a confident clairvoyant who will instill that same confidence in his/her ability in those round them

If desired, you may even wish to explore some tools and techniques other clairvoyants use. Tarot cards, crystal balls, and palm readings are utilized by some clairvoyants. This, too, could be a tool that will help you explore your gifts.

Clairvoyance is a noble art. Many celebrated people consult clairvoyants, and many clairvoyants achieve fame. Using your ability to help guide people through life is a rewarding opportunity. Enjoy! - 31856

An Exciting New Experience as A Lucid Dreamer

By Lesley Groft

You have heard about lucid dreaming and think it is something you would like to do. That is a good starting point but exactly how do you begin and what are the steps to being a successful lucid dreamer?

It's important to think about why you'd like to become a lucid dreamer, too. There are a number of benefits to dreaming this way, but first we should look at normal sleep, so we'll understand them.

Have you ever considered the process of sleep before? Every night you make preparations, crawl into bed and go to sleep. You may have dreams or nightmares or all may just be dark for a few hours, it is rather boring isn't it?

The human body has a built in requirement for sleep. It rests the body so that we are prepared to continue our lives. Without it, there is strong evidence for insanity. That is all well and good but there is nothing saying we cannot control certain aspects of sleep is there?

What if rather than being an active observer, you can be the one who can lead your dream to be whatever you want, rather than your dream leading you? This is what a lucid dreamer is; someone who is in total control of their dreams; able to explore new worlds that are not bound to the physical, societal and time-space laws of the real world.

So if you want to become a lucid dreamer how do you do it? There are actually two ways. The first way is having a dream-initiated lucid dream (DILD), which is where the dreamer is in a dream and then realizes that they are, restoring their sense of consciousness within the dream.

The second method is called WILD, and stands for wake-initiated lucid dream. This is when you start out awake and fall asleep, but do not experience a change in consciousness levels. This is the process of simply entering a dream, the same way you'd walk through a door, instead of waking up inside the dream.

So what are the actual methods used to induce these two types of lucid dream experiences?

Dream Recall

A simple place to start when you would like to lucid dream is in dream recall. This is where you can remember and perhaps recite your dream in part or in whole. You are very likely to have the same dream more than once in your life and being able to remember them will alert you the next time you have that particular dream.

The way to practise dream recall is by keeping a dream journal. The dream journal is meant as a tool to write down anything you can remember about your dream, in order to recall it for the future. This should be done right after waking up; otherwise dreams will become harder to remember.

Mnemonic Induction of Lucid Dreams (MILD)

Developed by Dr. Stephen LaBerge the idea is to tell your self to recall an object or situation from your dreams, before you go to sleep. You can look back to your dream journal for an example of a recurring them like a pink haired woman. Anything that when you see it in your dream will tell you that you are in fact dreaming.

Wake-Back-To-Bed (WBTB)

The process here is to go to sleep, doing nothing but setting your alarm to wake you up a few hours later (5 or 6). Once you wake up, DO NOT go back to sleep. Instead, do something else like read for a while, or think as much as you can about lucid dreaming for around an hour then go back to bed.

According to Stephen LaBerge, there is a 60% success rate of this technique. The reason why is that you would have woken up during the process of sleep, meaning that your mind is not fully aware of this, and are still in the middle of REM cycle. So basically, it's like going to your mind and telling it that you want to lucid dream.

Cycle Adjustment Technique

This technique was created by Daniel Love, and involves setting an alarm that will wake you an hour and a half before you'd normally get up. Once you're used to waking up early, alternate between the early alarm and your old alarm. When you're waking up normally, your body will already be expecting the early alarm, and make you more likely to "wake up" in your dream.

Wake-initiation of Lucid Dreams (WILD)

This method was described before. If you would like to achieve a lucid dream this way, all you have to do is to keep your mind awake while you body falls asleep. This is perhaps the most interesting way of entering a lucid dream. It is as if you are getting ready to watch a movie. You are in the real world, you sit on your couch, you turn on the TV and press play (starting to sleep), the screen is black (in the same way as when your eyes are closed), and all you have to do is wait for the movie to actually start.

A number of ways to stay aware are counting, imagine climbing or descending stairs, chant, control your breathing, count your breaths, and concentrate on relaxing the body from their toes to head. (This all falls under the term 'self hypnosis'.) It is best to do this when you are not tired, like in the afternoon.

Recent technological advances mean that dreaming masks and other useful devices have been developed. They contain strobe lights and other devices that are believed to induce lucid dreaming.

If you want to increase, your chances of success use the method that has proven to be the best. Using a set of headphones listen to binaural beats at the right sound frequencies during sleep.

These work by synchronizing your brain's two hemispheres. They almost instantly allow your brain waves to reach the frequency that occurs in REM sleep and which is needed for you to be a lucid dreamer.

Combined with the self hypnosis sessions and affirmations to prepare your subconscious mind beforehand, becoming a lucid dreamer is something that everyone can now experience! - 31856

How To Get The Most From Your Yoga Practice

By Ana Paula Hernandez

Yoga promotes flexibility and muscle strength, and benefits the body in so many other ways, by reducing stress, improving emotional and mental health, and balancing other body functions. Those who begin practicing regular yoga often start because they've heard how good it is for health. While it's true that any practice of yoga is beneficial, it's even better if you can maximize your success by following several guidelines.

If you are taking formal yoga classes, it helps to arrive a few minutes early so you can get yourself in the right frame of mind before the class kicks off. If you find yourself rushing in at the last moment, it will take that much longer to get into the flow of the class. Ensure you take the time to have a drink of water and use the bathroom, and if you've got time, do a few poses or simply sit quietly until the class commences.

Starting a yoga class with a positive intention is a great idea, as it provides an excellent focus for the class. The intention may be something as simple as remaining calm in volatile situations, developing more tolerance and love, enjoying healthy foods, or on making time for spirituality. The intention simply needs to be something which is positive and reflects the spirit of yoga.

If you're suffering from an injury, or have recently gone through an illness, it's important that you let your yoga instructor know, as they are able to advise on poses to avoid and may offer alternatives. Those new to yoga should also tell their instructors, who can look out for them and assist with developing the correct poses to avoid strain or injury. Many people are so anxious to progress in their yoga that they inadvertently injure themselves, so it's important to realize that it will take time. Be patient and work at a level you feel physically comfortable with. The philosophy of yoga is one of healing, so pushing oneself and getting injured really does go against that, and will hinder any success or health benefits.

Once the class is over it's a great idea to take some time to think about what you learned during the class. It's all too easy to rush out of class and get back into the fast track of life without really digesting the lessons learned. After the relaxation and peace gained in a yoga class, it's a pity not to remain in the moment for some time later, and think over what you've learned. Beginners have a lot to remember, and it can take some time to learn it all. For this reason, if you can make the effort to consciously remember just one or two new poses from each class, you'll soon have mastered the basics.

Ideally, go to your class on a fairly empty stomach (don't eat for two to three hours before starting a class), as the process of digestion takes energy and can make you lethargic, and it's also possible to get cramps or nausea if you exercise too soon after eating, especially when doing moves that involve the midsection (including deep forward bends, twists, and inversions).

Taking the right mindset and attitude to a yoga class can help you maximize your yoga practice, as can finding a beneficial intent to focus on during the class (which can also help keep your mind off worrying thoughts which will inhibit your progress). Taking the right attitude into class, and maintaining inner peace afterward can be very beneficial. - 31856

Three Ways to Learn Clairvoyance

By Luke Hounsome

Is it really possible for anyone to learn clairvoyance? To a certain extent, yes. To understand what we mean by this, we need to clarify what we mean by clairvoyance, and what we mean by being able to 'learn' it.

First, let's define the term clairvoyance. There are many different definitions for this term, and it really depends on who you ask. One of the most common definitions is that you need to learn about remove viewing, that is, being able to see things as they happen from a distance without the use of tools or your five senses. It might also be described as the ability to see in the the future, which is referred to as precognition. Essentially, it means being able to know information that is gathered in a method beyond that of your five senses. This makes clairvoyance the elusive sixth sense.

True, some people do have extraordinary clairvoyant abilities, such as the ability to see, hear, feel, smell, or even taste something far away, or even to know things about the past or future that they couldnt possibly know through any other means. No one really know how this works. Science has not been able to document or explain these abilities. Although there are dozens of metaphysical explanations of these psychic abilities, no particular one has emerged as the dominant belief, and some explanations are even contradictory. One common element, however, seems to cut across all these different theories: people with extraordinary psychic abilities are simply born that way.

Is it possible to learn to see things that are happening elsewhere or to see the future? Probably not. Can you develop and train your sixth sense? Most definitely yes.

The truth of the matter is that just about everyone has some measure of a sixth sense. This might come out as a hunch or a feeling that you have. If you have a bad feeling about something or if you realize that you instinctively trust someone, you'll discover that this that sixth sense. When you ignore it in favor of things like logic or emotion, however, you are going against it.

Science, to a certain degree, even acknowledges the existence and validity of hunches and instincts. Scientists claim, however, that there is nothing supernatural, paranormal, or psychic about this ability. Psychologists, for example, argue that this phenomenon is merely your subconscious mind picking up on little details, hints, and signals that your conscious mind is too busy to notice. Your subconscious mind then translates this information into emotions to help guide you"the proverbial 'feeling' mentioned earlier. Therefore, in order to develop your sixth sense, you have to learn to use and trust your subconscious mind.

Whether you believe that clairvoyance is based on brain neurochemistry or innate psychci ability is not something that matters all that much. All you need to accept is that it exists and that everyone has at least a little bit of it. Now all you need to do is to worry about training it up.

1. Improve Your Perception

First, think about all the times that you go through life in a half-daze. You are so intently concentrated on the tasks that you are working on that you block out everything else. The issue is that these little details are very important and you need to think about what your subconscious mind is really seeing and sending you messages about. The more detail that you can put into it, the better off you are going to be when it comes to honing your clairvoyant sit sense.

Don't expect this to happen overnight though; you might be breaking the habit of a lifetime. Remember that you should start by slowing down a little bit and moving through your day in a more leisurely fashion. Second consider what distractions are a part of your day and remove them. This means that you should do things like turn off the radio when you are driving. When you don't have anything distracting you, you'll find that you are going to be more on target when it comes to looking at the things that are happening around you. This can be essential.

Finally, occasionally do a 'mini-meditation'. This consists of closing your eyes, taking a deep breath, and forcing yourself to relax. When you open your eyes again, you'll be more aware of your surroundings. This only takes a few seconds, but you'll be surprised by the difference it makes.

Method 2: Learn to Meditate

Try to meditate at least 30 minutes a day. The idea behind meditation is to occupy and clear your conscious mind, and let your subconscious mind rise to the surface to do its work and communicate with your conscious mind People who meditate report feeling relaxed and refreshed when they are done.

When you are thinking about meditation, though, you'll discover that it is a lot easier said than done. You might find that you sit down and suddenly there are a number of things that are all calling for our attention. You might feel as though you are being silly or that you are doing it wrong. Remember that there are tools that can guide you, so take some time and focus and find a mantra.

First, when you try to meditate, your senses distract you. Even sound you hear or thing you feel distracts you. Therefore, instead of trying to shut your senses down, give them something to keep them busy by staring at a focus. A candle flames makes a good focus. There's not really a lot to see to distract you, yet the flame flickers and shifts just enough to keep you watching and your mind occupied.

Second, our conscious mind, our thoughts, never shuts down"we're always thinking about something. Rather than try to silence it, occupy and distract it with a mantra. A mantra is phrase, poem, or prayer that you repeat over and over again in your head just to occupy your mind. It can be anything"a prayer, a favorite poem, even song lyrics"just as long as you know it by heart and can recite it with much thought. Some people pray the rosary as they meditate"the endless string of memorized Hail Marys occupies their conscious mind perfectly.

Step 3: Trust Yourself

Finally, remember that you need to believe in yourself and trust yourself. Don't doubt and don't second guess yourself. Don't say that your gut instincts must be wrong or that they are not important. Remember that the things that you feel, you feel them for a reason. What is your subconscious mind trying to tell you? Don't let this message get left in the dark as you try to move forward.

This is not going to be easy, but the ore you listen and the more you trust your instincts, the better of you are going to be. You can encourage and nurture your sixth sense into developing and maturing. - 31856

How Does The BioMat work?

By Cynthia Ryan

A medical device that is useful for both preventing disease and improving health, the Biomat positively affects the immune system, can increase circulation and improve cardiovascular health, reduce pain, increase the metabolism to assist weight loss, decrease joint pain and stiffness, aid in body detoxification, improve the quality of skin and hair, and lower stress and fatigue. Far infrared light, negative ions and amethyst crystals are utilized in the Biomat for their synergistic healing properties.

How does the Biomat actually work? Firstly, the far infrared rays (FIR) are a form of light energy which is invisible to human vision, and are a natural part of the light frequency of sunlight (living things also emit a certain amount of FIR). Healing using FIR is becoming more and more commonly used by both alternative practitioners and other medical professionals. FIR have a size of between 9 and-- microns, and it has been shown that light waves of this size resonate strongly with the body's cell tissues. When FIR light touches the body it produces warmth and also stimulates the metabolism.

There is a substance known as Japanese Kurera Super Fiber in the Biomat, which is a layer of carbon ceramic material, which produces FIR when energy is pulsed through it. The amethyst crystals act as an amplifier for the FIR when they are passed through it, which creates a long wavelength light which can penetrate deeply into the body.

The Biomat also produces negative ions which are shown to be beneficial for the body's health. Negative ions are all around us, but are particularly abundant in areas where nature abounds (lush rainforests, waterfalls, and the ocean). When negative ions are abundant, the brain receives more oxygen, which helps increase alertness and a greater attention span. As people aren't often in areas where there are abundant negative ions, the Biomat helps redress this by producing negative ions. It does this through the Kurera fiber interacting with DC current. The Kurera Super Fiber then generates a discharge of negative ions into the air, and helps convert positive ions in the body into negative ions. Doing this, the body is able to create more calcium and sodium minerals in the bloodstream, creating a healthier, more alkaline state in the body.

Finally, the amethyst crystal in the Biomat is a super conductor, which means it is able to amplify the FIR produced by the mat exponentially, which allows it to penetrate further into the body.

In both home use and professional use the Biomat is extremely useful. Those in the alternative medical fields such as chiropractors, acupuncturists, masseurs, and Reiki practitioners love the Biomat, as not only do they have healing properties but they also work well with their treatments and relax patients. - 31856

Exploring Your Mindpower

By Brian Parry

Scientists estimate that we only use around ten percent of our mind power. - Only ten percent! Can you imagine what would happen if you could access the remaining ninety percent? The results would be incredible!

Scientists agree that people who exhibit psychic and extra sensory abilities must be able to use these abilities due to somehow using that 90% of the human mind which usually lies idle. Some people appear to have these abilities from birth but others develop their mind power and start using these latent talents later on in life.

We're not sure yet how it works, but there is ongoing research into how our own mindpower can influence the world we live in.

In fact recent scientific studies are starting to verify what the ancient religions have been saying for thousands of years, that reality is merely a product of your mind, and if you change the way you think, then you can change your reality. 'Mindpower' is in fact the only reality!

And with films such as 'The Secret' which explains the theory of the law of attraction, people are realizing that by changing the way they see things and by using their mindpower, they can attract abundance and anything they want into their life.

The law of attraction is all about cause and effect. The principle holds that our thoughts have no less of an effect than our physical actions and that focused thoughts can attract outcomes to us.

It seems that not only is the subconscious the prime mover behind psychic powers like remote viewing and telepathy, but is also our conduit to the energy of the universe around us.

Now the key to the development of your mindpower is to communicate with your subconscious mind. But how exactly do you do this? There are a number of ways.

Affirmations:- A staple of positive thinking, affirmations are repeated until they sink into the subconscious mind, where they influence your behavior to achieve the desired outcomes. Your subconscious can make things happen by using your unused mindpower.

For example, you could increase your self esteem with affirmation such as 'I am a confident, successful person'. You can also use affirmations to break bad habits, using sayings like 'I do not smoke and have no desire to have a cigarette'.

When repeated, affirmations reach the subconscious and start producing the desired result.

So just take this a stage further and realize that anything you want to change will change; not just your behavioral habits but absolutely everything in your reality. This is mindpower!

Visualization:- You can also develop your mindpower using visualization. Visualization consists of closing your eyes and picturing the things you want to happen in your mind's eye. Your subconscious mind responds to the images which you focus your thoughts on and begins using your mindpower to make them a reality. You can visualize anything you want and with practice, you'll increase your mindpower and make it possible.

And you can also visualize yourself having psychic powers. Visualize yourself communicating using telepathy. See yourself being able to see into the future, or view remotely. Using mindpower whatever you want to happen will.

Hypnosis:- Hypnosis is a very effective means of boosting mindpower through communicating with the subconscious. You can work with a professional hypnotherapist who will place you into a state of deep relaxation and then supply suggestions to your subconscious mind which it will begin to work on once you wake up from your trance.

Alternatively you can try self hypnosis where you listen to a recording of a hypnotherapist going through the session. The advantage of this, apart from the cost, is that you can keep listening to it over and over again.

Brainwave entrainment:- This is a new audio technology which is brainwave synchronization. This changes instantly your brainwaves to a certain frequency. This can result in many things. At a certain frequency you can improve your memory. At another frequency natural endorphins are released into your body which heal and alleviate pain.

There are frequencies which help your mind to reach the meditative state needed to communicate with your subconscious and develop your mindpower.

Other frequencies can stimulate the parts of your body known as the chakra energy centers. There is a chakra in the center of your forehead called the third eye chakra which is responsible for psychic powers.

All of us already have these psychic powers; but they must be developed by enhancing your mindpower. Unless you make the effort to develop these abilities, they remain locked in your subconscious mind and are never used.

When we talk about developing mindpower, what we really mean is unlocking the potential psychic abilities which are present in every person and starting to access the potential of that 90% of the brain which we don't use every day. - 31856

What Are The Benefits Of A Past Life Regression?

By Jon J Collings

They say, only twenty five percent of people believe that reincarnation exists. This does not prove it does not exist. Have you ever felt inclined towards or perhaps realized you had the ability (talent) for something and wondered where that talent came from? You are, I am sure, what I am referring to. In our daily lives we sometimes feel a strong connection to something and can think of no reason for it. It could, perhaps, have been something in your past life that was important to you.

Unfortunately, its possible existence or validity is overlooked by many people and tends to be ignored. The opportunity to expand personally is missed out by that person or persons. To discover who they were in the past and who they are today, in the present. Ignoring information received on their past lives makes it easy to impede personal growth and to achieve success.

Extensive research into life regression has now become a tool to help emotionally disturbed people and is considered a very powerful tool in this arena.

The benefit of clearing and healing of trauma is very common with life regression. When it comes to trauma we have two choices, either face it head on or try to change it. As we talk of confronting trauma or of life regression the option of rescuing the past and helping the individual to continue to move on and bring trauma into a position to be viewed by a higher self, as a whole.

Past life regression can also help in contacting our creative side. There isn't a person out there that doesnt have a mix of talents and attributes that help guide them through life towards certain choices over others. A past life regression can help you go back through one or more lives where we can bring the attribute or the past life to act as an inner guide.

A past life regression can also help you rewrite a past-life contract. Karma is a wonder of a thing it always comes back to us. When it involves another person it can have something to do with a promise or an agreement that we made with that person in a past life. To free yourself from this agreement you can go back to that lifetime where you created the promise originally and you can decide, most often with the help of an Inner Guide, whether or not the is an atonement that can be done or if the contract can be modified to help you with a current situation.

There is a benefit to going back to a past life using regression and its significant. It is the affirmation and grounding of ones self.

Those who do go back to a past life using regression want to feel grounded and this is not uncommon. They also become more aware of their individuality and as a person. They are now more aware that they have some connections, talents, abilities, characteristics and desires and this is a fact. This information they have received gives them the reason for their abilities and talents, enabling them to accept the situation and to begin living a more complete and balanced life.

Ask the experts in the field of past life regression and they will agree, if a person practices past life regression they can truly improve or enhance their life. You will remember your past lives and begin to live a more complete and fulfilled life in the present practicing past life regression.

You think you experience feelings of simple figments of imagination, but a catharsis will begin, opening your mind, breaking down barriers that are blocking your achievement efforts giving you the ability to achieve everything you want in your life.

To briefly recap the benefits of life regression include dealing with traumatic events from the past so that we can move forward in the present life. By dealing with issues from the past we are better equipped to make better decisions today because we can use the experiences we have had in the past.

Much like history, if you know history you are less likely to repeat history. This is true of the world and it is true of your personal life. If you know that in the past you were dishonest and you paid the price from being dishonest you can change your old habits to improve where you are today.

The most beneficial part of past life regressions, however, is all the knowledge you have obtained. A more complete understanding of who you are, what you are and why you are who you are. You know have the opportunity, here in the present, to live more completely and a more balanced life. To live to your fullest potential, utilizing all your talents, abilities and skills. All that you never knew you possessed. - 31856

Do You Understand The Term 'Past Regression'?

By John Paul Harding

As reincarnation gains ever more acceptance in our society, you may have been hearing about something called past life regression. This is exactly what the name implies; and it is something that a growing number of people are interested in. When we know more about our past lives, it gives us insight into our lives in the here and now.

One of the methods often used is to keep a journal of those thoughts and emotions which come to you, no matter how small that do not fit with the experiences you have had in your current lifetime. Even the smallest things may be a helpful clue to figuring out more about your past lives. For instance, phobias or an attraction to a certain place you may not ever have been. A journal is a good way to spot patterns which may point to a past life.

Your past lives journal can begin with a list of things which you like and those which you do not. These could include particular cuisines, cultures and places that you feel some sort of a bond with. Really, any details about what makes you the person you are is relevant and should be written down here. Talents, personality traits; anything which can help you make sense of your past lives and your present life belongs here and can help you to spot patterns indicative of a past life.

Your dreams may also contain some clues to your past lives - be sure to take notes on anything from your dreams which seem to belong to a previous life. However, you should keep in mind that much of the content of your dreams will come from the present.

Or you could try past life regression.

This usually involves going to a trained past life regression therapist. These professionals are experienced in hypnotherapy and guiding you through a past life experience as well as helping you to make sense of the experience afterwards. Self hypnosis may also be able to help you have this experience.

Meditation is another method of finding out more about past lives.

Some people have a hard time achieving a past life regression through meditation at first, since we are often skeptical about these kinds of experiences. When you meditate, you have to learn to trust yourself.

When you meditate, you might feel as if you are daydreaming, but some of the information which comes through as you calm your mind may be important. Be sure to write down everything which comes to you in your journal so you can compare it against the larger picture you are assembling there.

Those who have some difficulty meditating often find aids including visual focal points, incense or relaxing music or sounds to be helpful. There are guided meditation tapes you can try as well as recordings of relaxing natural soundscapes.

Then there are binaural beats.

These are specially designed audio recordings which contain specific frequencies which can help you reach a deep meditative state quickly. While you meditate, choose a quiet place where you will not be disturbed and that you can sit or lie down comfortably. As you begin, make a conscious effort to relax your body and maintain a positive mindset.

You have to completely relax both body and mind. If everyday worries intrude on your meditation, acknowledge these thoughts and move past them. You may not succeed the first time you meditate, but you will soon get the hang of it and you can start to seek answers to the questions you have.

Past life regression can even help you to cope with problems in your present life as well as give you information about the past. Some even learn that they have known the people they know now in a past life.

A large number of the world's religious traditions include reincarnation among their beliefs, particularly the Karmic religions of South Asia. Jains, Hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists all believe that your actions in every lifetime influence the circumstances you will be born into the next time around. What this teaches us is that having an understanding of your past lives can be the key to living better right now.

The most important thing is to come to this experience with an open mind. You have to be able to accept information and be willing to learn from your past in order to improve the way you live now.

Experts say that re-experiencing some of the events of a past life can be a powerful tool for overcoming mental blocks and giving you a better outlook towards your life and the world around you.

When you can deal with the problems of your past, you may be able to make positive changes by knowing where you have gone wrong in past lives and make better decisions in the present as a result. A regression can show you the way towards living a better life with a greater degree of kindness to yourself and others.

You might even find that you have talents or abilities which you were not even aware of. If you see yourself in a past life as an expert pianist, for instance, you will most likely find that if you take up the instrument you will be an accomplished player quickly. Discovering these latent abilities can add to your quality of life immensely.

As long as you have an open mind and are ready to learn from your past lives, there are many benefits which past life regression may hold for you. - 31856
