A Few Good Things About Energy Meditations

By Trevor Johnson

We live in a stressful world. Most of us have to worry about work or school, family, finances, and health related issues. With all of this worry about, stress levels can make things seem ten times worse than they are. This is where meditation comes in. There are many types of meditation. Some of the trendiest are energy meditations.

Meditation experts ask you to turn solid objects into energy in your mind. This allows you to think in terms of energy, instead of solid structure. The idea behind this type of meditation is to turn negative energy into positive energy to produce better health effects. This is also a form of healing.

Performing meditation is best done alone. Having too many distractions will not make it very effective. Some individuals, however, find going into a meditative state much easier with a guided practice. Tapes, books, and videos are all available in your bookstore. With all this in mind, find a quiet area where you cannot be bothered.

Close your eyes, and attempt to "see" your surroundings. See them as energy balls. A candle, or a book may be blue in your mind's eye, for instance. Let your imagination guide you through this process.

Your goal is to cleanse the area of negativity. This is done effectively by changing one color to another. Usually the cleansing color is white, or light blue. Each person may use a different color.

Healing by energy is also done this way. This type of healing is done in zones. Doing it in a meditation is easier when you are healing yourself - you can use a guided meditation for best results. The benefits are tremendous.

While meditation is difficult for some people, it is something that should considered a part of the every day life of the busiest individuals. They will find themselves feeling less stressed, and more capable of handling the constant hustle and bustle. Whether they try energy meditations, or another form, there is nothing to lose from trying to clear up the stress. - 31856
